Who is eligible?
The Work Pass is for foreigners who:
– Have a job offer in Singapore.(Can be your own company)
– Earn a fixed monthly salary
– More details will be shared after assessing the applicant’s credentials.
Application for an Work Pass is not for all nationalities except for Employment Pass candidates.
Salaries for candidates
Work Permit – $500 to $800 and above – Quota required
S Pass – $3,000 and above – Quota required.
Employment Pass – $4,500 and above. – no Quota is required
Acceptable qualifications
MOM don’t have a list of approved institutions or acceptable qualifications. Instead, MOM evaluate each application on its own merit, based on a wide range of factors such as the candidate’s salary, track records, work experience, skill sets and global and countries’ rankings of institutions.
Documents required for Work Pass Application:
You need to submit documents such as copies of passport details and educational certificates along with the Work Pass application.
You need these documents to apply for a Work Pass:
– Personal particulars page of the candidate’s passport. If the name on the passport is different from the other documents, give us one of the following:
– Explanation letter and supporting documents, e.g. deed poll
– An affidavit
– Company’s latest business profile or instant information registered with ACRA.
– Candidate’s educational certificates, e.g. degree certificate.
